I found all these fences behind the barn posted for this week's Barn Charm...
lots & lots of them & in bad shape, too.

The word has been that Picnik will be shutting down April 19th,
but I found a site that says Google purchased the photo editing program
& they plan to integrate it in somehow,
which is good news to me, because I really like Picnik!
However, I've been checking out PicMonkey
thanks to Dawna at That Country Place
Did you know that if you don't resize your pics until you upload them to your blog
that it takes longer for your blog to load because
it's trying to load all the pics then resize them to the size you applied after upload?
The trick is to resize in your photo editing program, THEN upload & your blog will load faster!

Even in their state of disrepair under that sky and with those red blooms you've made them come out looking pretty good!
Great picture!
What a beautiful scene Tricia! I love the contrast of colours. Happy Friday!!
I had Picnik so I could tag my photos but when I received the email that it was closing down, I decided it was time to venture into the world of PS Lightroom which I LOVE!! I have also downloaded a trial of PS Elements so I can experiment with textures.
It is a pretty scene, Tricia! Wonderful capture, have a great weekend!
In spite of its state of disrepair, it is still a charming fence...and the view is wonderful! If you get a chance, stop by my post today...I mention you and your blog!
Nice picture but the disrepair is sad. I notice that a barbed wire fence has been added. Living here in cattle country, when I saw that gaping hole in the fence I immediately thought about the cows getting out!
Another good alternative to picnik is ipiccy.com.
yeah i hate that picnik is shutting down and that google bought them because i really dislike using google+...i played with picmonkey yesterday and liked it, and the name is cute! nice fence shots!!
love the shot. love the clouds. (:
Beautiful view and I like the shade of blue on the sky.
Friday Fences
Beautiful photo Tricia, I'm going to miss Picnik too.
Great photo.. Thank you
love this shot. run-down makes for some great photos!
It's a lovely photograph. You wonder how it must have looked in its better days.
These fences are in sad shape, but the picture is beautiful. You've captured color in the leaves, tree and sky, as well as those wispy clouds.
This is a neat shot. It kind of looks like everytime a fence fell down, they put of a new one instead of fixing it.
Great, old, rustic fence! Wonderful photo!
Beautiful! I went to SEMO and SIU,Now live in KY. So you are in my neck of the woods,JoAnn Come and follow me back
Looks like they built new right on top of the old one- great shot- love the fall colors on those bushes.
Looks like it needs a bit of repair! Have to go over and check out PicMonday. Thanks for the info.
I love these broken-down fences.
Another example of "if fences could talk"--what stories they could tell about their owners. I love the fresh, natural quality of the colors in this photos. I could go easy on the "vivid" setting on my camera. I use photoshop for editing but don't do much because haven't taken the time to learn it. Hope you get to keep your favorite program.
That's gorgeous, Tricia! Love the old fence against that blue sky!
That is a lot of fences in bad shape but it makes a beautiful picture with the blue sky and the colored leaves.
Great shot, Tricia!! I love the layers you have in the shot. From the fences in the foreground to the sky it all works very well together.
I like these broken down fences. I like your low viewpoint on this shot too. Very nice image.
That is a quite a collection of fences! Thanks for the update on Picnik. I use that program as well.
Tricia, this is wonderful!
I love the vibrant color.
Happy weekend to you!
Very good composition and beautiful colors in this photo.
Regards and best wishes
Two thumbs up! Disrepair in many instances reveals great character.
"Bluff Area Daily" has been included in this weeks A Sunday Drive. I hope this helps to attract even more new visitors here.

a beautiful photo
I love all the bits of fences, it's like a sacred burial ground
I am going to miss Picnik so much!! Google says it put most of the Picnik features into the Creative section of Google+ but I can't find it LOL
I've been using iPiccy and Lunapic
Love this shot...that blue sky just pops right out at you! Thanks for info about picnik I love it n hope google comes out with something just as user friendly!
the older, the more delapidated the better. this is sooo pretty!!
This is pretty, I like the wisps of clouds.
Tricia, this is a wonderful photo. Love it.
